When federal relief funds created new opportunities for afterschool programming across Texas, Big Thought Institute stepped in to support eight local education agencies (LEAs) in designing, launching, and sustaining high-quality, student-centered programs. This case study highlights how BTI provided tailored technical assistance—from coaching and curriculum design to sustainability planning and professional learning communities. With a focus on equity, enrichment, and youth belonging, this resource captures the process and outcomes of building strong afterschool ecosystems that are built to last.
