Developed by Big Thought Institute and grounded in research from Harvard Project Zero, the 6DQ Framework reimagines what quality instruction looks like across youth learning environments. With six learner-centered dimensions—from Climate and Engagement to Dialogue, Skills, and Creative Choices—6DQ supports social-emotional growth, learner agency, and culturally responsive practice. This tool is both an observation system and a coaching model, guiding facilitators on a journey of transformational teaching.
